There are three public paths in Tixall. A Path Pack
with detailed A4 sheets describing each path is

Path from Holdiford Road to St Thomas Priory
- A footpath runs from St
Thomas Priory, round the back of Brancote Sewage
Works, past the original site of Brancote Farm
near the river, and through wood to Holdiford
road. Returning along the towpath
of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal
provides a circular walk.
- A Bridlepath runs from
Bottle Lodge to the
White Lodge. It is also possible to access the
towpath of the Staffordshire
and Worcestershire Canal at Swivel Bridge, to make
a more circular walk.
- A longer Bridlepath runs
from Dairy Bridge, past Tixall Pool, across
Hanyards Lane and through Upper Hanyards Farmyard,
across to Ingestre Park Wall and Fiddlers Lodge,
and round part of the County Showground to the
