There are Bottle and Paper Banks at the Village Hall at Tixall, and by the Memorial Playing Fields at Great Haywood.
BUS TIMES:-
The Arriva bus service841/842 runs Monday to Saturday, there are no buses on Sundays or Bank Holidays. The bus can be picked up at Hoo Mill crossroads, Tixall village, Brancote and Halfway House.

MOBILE LIBRARY:-
The Library no longer visits Ingestre. It visits Tixall on alternate Wednesdays from 2.00 until 2.20pm.parking opposite the Church, and then goes on to the Water Works at Milford. See County Council Website for further details. It is a free service and provides a variety of books for all ages, talking books and videos.
POLICE:-
Ingestre and Tixall fall within the Stone area for policing under Inspector Carl Humphries, at Stone Police Station, Radford Street, Stone, ST15 8DB. Tel: 01785 812401.Great Haywood police post is situated off Main Rd, Great Haywood, behind the Clifford Arms. It is staffed by 5 police officers working variable shifts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The officers cover a large area including: the Haywoods, Colwich, Berkswich, Brocton, Milford, Hixon, Weston, Salt & Enson, sandon & Burston, Hopton & Coton, Milwich, Stowe, Marston, Gayton & Fradswell, Hilderstone and Whitgreave, as well as Ingestre & Tixall. Two of the officers are dedicated Community Beat Officers, namely PC Paul Ryan and PC Mark Napier. We also have a Community Support Officer PCSO Neil Williams.

1. By letters posted through the letter box at the Great Haywood Police Post. Should anyone call at the Police Post when no officer is present, they can call the Staffordshire Police Area Control Room using the external telephone by the front door in a blue box.

5. In an emergency ring 999 as usual.POSTAL COLLECTIONS:-
The box at Ingestre Village is emptied at 8am and 4.15pm on weekdays, at 8am on Saturdays. The nearest Sunday & Bank Holiday Collections are at midday from Gt Haywood or Baswich Post Offices.
The box at Tixall is emptied at 4.15pm on weekdays and at 8.15am on Saturdays.
